I have worked as a television producer in Thailand and the greater Southeast Asian region for two decades. I began my career as a field producer and was on the front lines covering some of the biggest breaking stories in the world including the 2004 Asian tsunami, the Saffron protests and Cyclone Nargis in Myanmar, the 2006 and 2014 military coups in Thailand and the royal wedding in Bhutan for Reuters and NBC.
With a passion for storytelling and an interest in learning new techniques for sharing information in a compelling way, I enrolled at Edinburgh College where I achieved a Higher National Diploma in Audio Visual Technology and then transferred to Edinburgh Napier University for a degree in Digital Media and Interaction Design.
During my studies I learned how to use different software such as Adobe Suite, Cinema4D and 3ds Max for editing footage and to make 2D and 3D animations. I’m also fascinating about game software like Unreal Engine. My main focus is now on Virtual Reality technology using Unreal Engine for immersive storytelling.
I am currently working as a freelance videographer and Artist in Residence at Edinburgh College to help with filming, editing and motion graphics.
